Midland Psychological and Social Support Services Plan 2015-2018

As part of the national FCT programme, Budget 2014 announced new sustainable funding for a cancer clinical psychologist in each cancer centre and additional cancer psychologist and social workers for each DHB effective 1 July 2015.  The new service is to be regionally integrated. The Ministry required the Midland DHBs to work with the Midland Cancer Network to develop a regional plan Midland Psychological and Social Support Services Plan 2015-2018.

The Midland Supportive Care Work Group will oversee the implementation of the new regional service.
