Supportive Care Services

Supportive Care services aim to improve the quality of life for those with cancer, their family and whanau through access to support, rehabilitation and palliative care. In this directory supportive care and rehabilitation services include the essential services required to meet a person’s physical, social, cultural, emotional, nutritional, informational, psychological, spiritual and practical needs throughout their experience with cancer.

The Supportive Care Directory is focused on listing supportive care services, that are provided for adults across the Bay of Plenty, Lakes, Waikato and Tairawhiti region.  Limited support information is included for children and young adults.  These also include services to support family/whanāu.
