Midland Consumer and Care Work Group

The active involvement of key stakeholders, consumers, carers and communities was a fundamental principle of the New Zealand Cancer Control Strategy.

The Midland Cancer Network established the Midland Consumer and Carer Work Group following a meeting of interested people in September 2009 and the group has met quarterly since March 2010.  This group is the key way the network obtains consumer and carer perspectives into the work programme.
