Midland Non-Surgical Cancer Treatment Work Group
The Midland Non-Surgical Cancer Treatment Work Group involves the clinical directors of medical oncology, radiation oncology and haematology from the Regional Cancer Centre, cancer clinical nurse specialists and service and operations managers from the three participating district health boards.
Its role is to
- oversee the implementation of recommendations made in the Non-Surgical Cancer Treatment Service Plan for the Midland Region and its implementation plan
- support and advise about issues, activities and priorities related to the delivery of non-surgical cancer treatment services across the Bay of Plenty, Lakes and Waikato district health boards.
