Midland Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Service (AYACS) Work Group

In 2007-2008 the Midland Cancer Network led a project to assist with the development of the AYACS for the network area.  The project produced the Midland Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology / Haematology Report and Action Plan 2008-2010 which aims to create equitable services between paediatric and adult oncology services for adolescents and young adults (aged 12-24 years) in the Midland Cancer Network area.

Initially the AYACS Work Group served as a consultation group during the development phase of the service and action plan.  Since the end of the project, the AYACS Work Group now oversees the implementation of the action plan.
